SERVICE FEATURES:

• Provision of the mandatory ’Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire’ and onsite review of that questionnaire to assure full completion.
• Blood pressure measurement prior to testing – spirometry is NOT conducted in the presence of a diastolic measure of 100 or greater or if otherwise medically contraindicated.
• Spirometric (pulmonary function) testing conducted by NIOSH certified technicians according to current American Thoracic Society protocols.
• Review of questionnaire and spirometric test results by Board Certified physician.
• Physician generated individualized certification letter and wallet card, good for one year, noting the approved level of certification (no restrictions, moderate exertion, mild exertion, emergency/training only, etc.) for each employee. Certificates are typically available approximately 7 to 10 days after the onsite testing.
